AP CAPSTONE is a relatively new program high schools are implementing to replace the International Baccalaureate (IB) program. It consists mainly of AP Seminar and AP Research, but many schools are combining classes like AP Language with AP Seminar, along with other combinations.

As a recent graduate of the AP CAPSTONE program, I am one of the most well equipped people to deal with student's struggles in the program. The process of brainstorming, researching, writing, and then researching some more is daunting to many high school students, but it doesn't have to be. The main issue is teachers are still new to the program, and the classes they have to teach are not necessarily what they have been trained for. I provide structure and lay out what college board wants in simple terms that many teachers seem incapable of graspiong.

AP Research

AP Research holds a special place in my heart as one of the most challenging, yet enjoyable classes in high school. As a part of AP CAPSTONE, most teachers are new and unexperienced when it comes to research. I know exactly the process that needs to take place, the amount of work that needs to be done, and exactly what college board wants to see. I was the only student in my high school graduating class that received a 5 on AP Research. Don't take me by my word, you can read my research paper here and see for yourself the scope of what this class entails.

Because of the unique circumstances of AP Research, I am offering a guidance/consultation service independent of my other services. This package includes help choosing a unique topic that will be enjoyable for each individual student, help understanding research paper structure, how to gather scholarly articles, and how to present in a professional, scientific manner that is sure to 'wow' College board reviewers. The real meat of this offer? Proofreading. I know exactly what collegeboard is looking for and know how to guide students in their writing. Everything I do is in accordance with plagiarism regulations and I will not supply sentences or ideas. My role is to guide and suggest, not write these papers.
