The parents of my students often ask me questions regarding difficulties their students are having. While I am not a teacher or a psychologist, I am still young enough to clearly remember what it is like to be an elementary and middle school student.

 

There have been times when my friends or I have struggled with different issues and I have addressed some of them below. Please remember that every child, parent, teacher and school is different. What may work for one student may not work for another. Remember these are my personal suggestions and observations, but that does not necessarily make them right or wrong for your family or your child.
